We perform in-house and field asphalt, soils, and concrete testing. Our team is certified and well-trained to perform and document field and laboratory tests on construction materials to meet industry standards.
Based on our foundational experience with materials testing, our construction inspection team performs field inspections and measurements, ensuring accurate documentation for estimate inclusion.
We provide on-site construction management and project documentation control to ensure that your projects are running safely, on time, and on budget.

"Let's team up!" - Jeff to Felipe on September 27th, 2022
Just Another Day in Paradise
Jeff Scroggins and Felipe Lopez met while working together on a heavy civil concrete paving project. Prior to this project, Felipe worked for a major construction managing firm. Felipe has worn many hats - and vests! - with experience as a materials tester, construction inspector, and construction manager. Jeff worked as a tester and inspector for various CDOT projects for over 18 years.
Realizing that they shared a spirit of innovation and a common vision around industry needs, Jeff and Felipe co-founded Teams Engineering on September 27th, 2022. Their complementary skillsets aligned with their common goals, creating a foundation for success and a unique voice in the Colorado Front Range.
A few months later, Felipe shared his vision for Teams with Gus Bieber, P.E., who decided to join and support Teams in becoming a professional engineering firm. Gus's vast experience as a CDOT Regional Engineer and as an experienced Consultant made him the perfect final puzzle piece to the founding team.
After participating in the Connect2DOT Leading Edge for Transportation Certification, Teams became a certified DBE/ESB firm in January of 2023.
